The Wentworth Surrey Home Office Range
The Surrey range offers a huge variety of styles and options to suit every need.
They are all clad with 15 mm thick Scandinavian Redwood shiplap boarding and receive 1 coat of high quality primer followed by 2 coats of Sadolin Superdec wood protection in a colour of your choice from their range.
Low maintenance PVCu windows and doors throughout the range with solid Scandinavian Redwood also available on the Kingston, Richmond, Walton and Farnham (at no extra cost).
The interior lining of 9 mm moisture resistant MDF is painted with Crown vinyl emulsion in a colour of your choice from their range. However, pine tongue and groove match boarding can be specified as an optional extra.

The Surrey Home Office Specification
The positioning and number of doors and windows can be decided upon by the customer. The width of windows may vary between 1200m and 915mm depending on the particular size of building and the configuration you choose. Please ask for more details prior to ordering. The buildings are sectional and designed to pass through a standard doorway.
FLOOR
Built around 75 x 47mm pressure treated joists with 22mm thick moisture resistant floor boarding. Insulation is laid between the joists. Any porch floors are finished in pressure treated decking.
WALLS
15mm Scandinavian redwood tongue and grooved shiplap boards are attached to the 68 x 34mm framing with a moisture resistant, breathable membrane between the two. Foil faced polyurathane insulation is placed within the framework before a polythene vapour barrier and beaded matchboard or painted MDF is attached to the inside. A skirting board and eaves height pelmet are screwed to the walls.
WINDOWS & DOORS
The double glazed wooden windows include trickle vents, weatherstrips, lockable latches and casement stays. The single and double wooden doors are half glazed. The 44mm thick doors come with three hinges, 5 lever mortice lock with a boxed plate (making it compliant with BS 3621 as approved by insurance companies and the police) and a set of brass handles. The double doors have a bolted slave door and cabin hooks. The uPVC windows and doors are always white with brass coloured handles, the glazing units are 28mm thick. All door glass is toughened.
ROOF
The roof is constructed and insulated using the same materials as the walls. Ashphalt shingle roof tiles are nailed and bonded to 18mm exterior boarding. The underside of the joists is lined with 100mm wide beaded match boards. The cedar shingles are nailed to pressure treated roofing battens using stainless steel nails. The battens sit on top of a breathable roof membrane.
ELECTRICAL
Space is available behind the skirting board, pelmet, roof apex and wall joints for the running of electrical cable by the customer at a later date. A fully certified and comprehensive electrical package can be provided by us as an optional extra.
FINISHES
All buildings come with two coats of Sadolin Superdec opaque finish available in many colours, applied on top of a high performance primer. Joinery can be ordered in a different colour to the main building if required, at no extra cost.
GUARANTEE
All of the Surrey Range of buildings are guaranteed for 5 years against manufacturing defects and decay (exterior timber should be retreated each year or in line with the recommendations of the preservative manufacturer).
